A Session Checklist for Multi-Timeframe Traders

Five minutes of structured prep beats an hour of scrolling indicators after the open.

Before the session, open the higher timeframe and write the bias in plain language. Note the nearest structure that would change that bias. Drop to the middle timeframe and mark whether price is approaching, rejecting, or breaking that structure.

Only then open the execution chart. Define one trigger, one invalidation, and one area where you will not chase. If the higher-timeframe bias is unclear, the checklist ends with “observe only.”

Students in the Execution Playbook course leave with a printed version of this checklist customized to their market and session hours.
